9 Story Media Group Inc. (formerly known as 9 Story Entertainment Inc. from 2002 to 2014) is a Canadian animation production and distribution company located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and was founded by Vince Commisso and Steven Jarosz in 2002. They use digital 2D animation.

In 2006, after having successfully worked with them on Peep and the Big Wide World, WGBH approached 9 Story to provide animation services on the second season of Arthur spinoff Postcards from Buster.[1] The company would also provide its animation services on the third and final season of the series.

Years later, in September 2011[2], they began co-producing, animating, and distributing Arthur itself starting with Season 16, until Season 19.

On March 12, 2024, Scholastic Corporation announced its intent to acquire the company and a minority of its voting rights from previous owners Zelnick Media Capital and other shareholders of 9 Story for USD$186 million.[3][4] The acquisition was completed on June 21st of that year, albeit at $4 million less than the original intended acquisition price.[5][6]
