Alaska is the 49th state in the United States. The capital city is Juneau and its largest city is Anchorage. It borders Canada on the west and is one of 2 United States which do not connect to the mainland United States (the other being Hawaii). It was admitted to the United States on January 3rd, 1959.[1]
In the Arthur series, Alaska is never seen, but is mentioned twice:
