Description[]
"School’s out at Lakewood Elementary School and that means it's time for an after school adventure! Join Arthur, Buster, Francine, and Muffy in a series of mini-games set all around Elwood City!"[1]
Features[4][]
- Six unique mini-games hosted in memorable locations around Elwood City
- More than 15 levels per game
- Randomization of gameplay to keep kids engaged
- 50 collectable characters from throughout the history of the series
- A music game in which kids can enjoy a variety of well-known tunes, including the ARTHUR theme song
- A smoothie game in which kids create delicious treats for Sugar Bowl customers
- A library game that challenges kids to find and shelve books before time runs out
- A freeze tag game in which kids “freeze” ARTHUR characters – a fun, digital twist on a classic playground game
Gameplay[]
The player is given a mini-game at random. When a mini-game is won, the app levels up and becomes more difficult. If a mini-game is lost, the player loses one of five lucky pencils. When the player wins five mini-games without losing all five lucky pencils, they unlock a character.
Game 1: Arthur's Library Game[]

Keep up with customers at the Elwood City Library!
In this game, a book 'spits out' of a 'book chute' from the right-hand side of the screen. On the left-hand side of the screen, one of Arthur's friends (there is a line behind them) appears asking for a certain color book (colors are red, yellow, blue, green, and purple). The job of the player is to put away the books as they come out of the book chute while also giving each character a book that matches their request. The player may either grab a book from the shelf to give the character, or if the corresponding color eventually comes out of the chute, they may give that book to the character. The player can complete the game in one of 2 ways (until the timer runs out and they serve the minimum amount of customers and put away the minimum amount of books in the allotted time period):
- The player may put away all the books from the chute into its corresponding shelf. Then they transition to pulling books from the shelf and giving them to the characters.
- The player may give characters their corresponding color book when it comes out of the chute, and then putting away books into the shelf if they don't match the character's request.

Game 2: Buster's Smoothie Game[]

Make smoothies at the Sugar Bowl!
In this game, there is a blender on the right side of the screen, along with 16 different 'squares' that the player must select in a particular order, serving a set number of customers in an allotted time period (the number of customers increases each time the player plays the game and 'levels up). Each square corresponds with a different topping or smoothie color. (base) The 4 squares on the top are the smoothie base colors: pink, green, yellow, and blue. The 12 squares below correspond to the different toppings that go into the blender (along with the smoothie base). The characters appear in a line along the top of the screen, and the player must serve them the smoothie that matches their request. Only one character can be served at a time, and the characters are served in the order they appear in the line. (This means that players may not 'skip' to a different character instead of doing the character at the front of the line). Each character will ask for a smoothie base, along with 1-2 toppings (the character will ask for 2 toppings as the player levels up). The player will drag each topping and base into the blender, then click the 'blend' button. If the player made a mistake, the blender will 'explode out' the smoothie and they will have the chance to put in the correct base/toppings. As the smoothies are made, the character line will automatically progress. The game ends when the player either serves all of the customers or the timer runs out. This article is missing a gameplay section. You can help by adding one!
Game 3: Francine's Tag Game[]

Tag! You're it! Catch your favorite ARTHUR characters.
In this game, a group of Arthur's friends will be running along the grass. Each one will be holding a colored flag. At the beginning of the game, Francine will tell the player what color flag they will be 'tagging' (she will say "Before the timer runs out, freeze all the kids on the [color] team!). If the player tags someone who is not on the correct team (for example, if they are meant to tag all players holding red flags, but they tag someone holding a blue flag), everyone will be 'unfrozen'. The game ends when either the player tags all of the children on the correct team or the timer runs out. This article is missing a gameplay section. You can help by adding one!
Game 4: Arthur's Music Game[]

Jam with Arthur and the gang!
In this game, Arthur is playing a piano and we see a note matching game (similar to Guitar Hero). The player must press the corresponding key on the piano when the colored dot lands on the key. If they hit the key too early or too late, it will not count. The player must hit a certain number of keys within the time limit (for example, playing 20 notes correctly in the song). If they do not play at least the minimum notes required, they will lose the game. There will be more than the required notes on the keyboard (for example, there may be 25 notes coming down the screen, but the player will only need to play 10 of them correctly to complete the game successfully). The goal is to hit every note in the song, but as long as the player plays the minimum notes required of that level, they will earn a star and will have successfully completed the game. The game ends when the timer runs out. This article is missing a gameplay section. You can help by adding one!
Game 5: Muffy's Costume Game[]
In this game, Muffy will be holding a poster, showing 2 items of clothing that the player must tap to put on the character. Along the bottom of the screen, there will be 2 scrolling rows of icons (which start out slow, and progressively speed up as the player levels up) corresponding to the items of clothing. The player must select the exact items which are on Muffy's poster, otherwise they will not win the game. The game ends when either the player correctly dresses all of the characters (which are shown one at a time) or the timer runs out. This article is missing a gameplay section. Game 6: Buster's FroYo Game[]
In this game, there is a frozen yogurt maker on the right side of the screen, along with 16 different 'squares' that the player must select in a particular order, serving a set number of customers in an allotted time period (the number of customers increases each time the player plays the game and 'levels up). Each square corresponds with a different topping or frozen yogurt color. (base) The 4 squares on the top are the frozen yogurt base colors: orange, red, yellow, and peach. The 12 squares below correspond to the different toppings that go into the blender (along with the yogurt base). The characters appear in a line along the top of the screen, and the player must serve them the smoothie that matches their request. Only one character can be served at a time, and the characters are served in the order they appear in the line. (This means that players may not 'skip' to a different character instead of doing the character at the front of the line). Each character will ask for a yogurt base, along with 1-2 toppings (the character will ask for 2 toppings as the player levels up). The player will drag each topping and base into the blender, then click the 'blend' button. If the player made a mistake, the blender will 'explode out' the yogurt and they will have the chance to put in the correct base/toppings. As the yogurts are made, the character line will automatically progress. The game ends when the player either serves all of the customers or the timer runs out. This article is missing a gameplay section. You can help by adding one!
