Arthur's Christmas is the ninth book in the Arthur Adventure series. It was written and illustrated by Marc Brown and published by Little, Brown and Company on October 30, 1984. It was republished in 1999 with a re-illustrated cover, although the page illustrations were recycled from the original 1984 edition.

- This is the first appearance of Arthur and D.W.'s paternal grandmother Thora Read, who is modeled after Marc Brown's grandmother with the same given name.
- In this book, Francine is seen sitting on Santa Claus's lap. In the TV special Arthur's Perfect Christmas (as well as its book adaptation), her family is Jewish.
