- The DVD was released on the same day that PBS released the Downton Abbey season 5 DVDs and Blu-ray Discs.[1]
- Several sources, including the PBS online store, incorrectly claimed the DVD included "Feeling Flush / Family Fortune" instead of "Whip. Mix. Blend. / Staycation." A PBS press release on January 8, 2015, finally listed the correct episodes.[2] The PBS online store's description was also corrected shortly after.
- This DVD marks the first-ever release of the episodes "Whip. Mix. Blend." and "Staycation."
- This also marks the first (and so far, only) time an episode of Arthur was released on DVD prior to its TV release in any country.
