Arthur's Teacher Moves In is the 26th book in the Arthur Adventure series. It was written and illustrated by Marc Brown and published by Little, Brown and Company on September 1, 2000. It is based on "The Rat Who Came to Dinner."
A writing contest called "What Would You Do If Your Teacher Moved In?" ran from August 15 to November 1, 2000, to promote the book.
The title was reissued on January 30, 2020, with new cover artwork.

Differences from the TV episode[]
- Jane was wearing the same clothes like she wears in the episode and unlike most other books, even though her sweater was purple instead of pink, and she had red sneakers on instead of white ones.
- When Mr. Ratburn wears casual clothes, his T-shirt was tucked into his pants in the episode; but in this book, his shirt was worn loose.
