Arthur Goes to Camp is the fifth book in the Arthur Adventure series. It was written and illustrated by Marc Brown and published by Little, Brown and Company on April 30, 1982. It became adapted into the TV series as the first half of episode seven in season one.

Arthur is not looking forward to Camp Meadowcroak, and decides to run away when mysterious things start happening there.

- This book marks the first appearance of Brain.
- The Crosswire family portrait that includes Muffy, as well as her parents Ed and Millicent, and brother Chip can be seen on one of the pages, but Muffy's family does not appear in the book nor anywhere else until the TV show. When the Crosswire family appeared on the show, but leaving Muffy's signature hairstyle was left unchanged, but the illustrations for each member of her family were different than they are here.
- This book was originally going to be called "Arthur and the Camp Meadowcroak Mystery"[citation needed]
- Rocky, the boys' counselor, only appears in this book.
