ARTHUR on Racism Talk, Listen, and Act
Alternate video source
"Arthur on Racism: Talk, Listen, and Act" is a 3 minutes, 30 seconds video that was released on August 4, 2020 on official Arthur or WGBH/PBS/PBS Kids websites and social media.
It was co-written by Arthur head writer Peter Hirsch and Dr. Kevin Clark of George Mason University.[1]
This was the third Arthur short video released in the summer of 2020, following "Wash Your Hands!" and "Happy Graduation from Arthur and Friends".
PBS Kids for Parents features the video in its "Talking to Young Children About Race and Racism" resource page.
The short video is connected to the PBS KIDS Talk About: Race and Racism half-hour TV special that premiered on October 9, 2020. The program will feature real kids and parents, as well as content from Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, Arthur, and Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum.[2] The related PBS KIDS Talk About web series premiered in June 2020.
This short was first aired on October 9, 2020, on PBS KIDS 24/7 Channel after the Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum episode "I Am Harriet Tubman."
