Batería is a baseball player who appears in the episode "The Curse of the Grebes". He recently joined the Elwood City Grebes and is considered the best shortstop in the league, according to Brain.
In a fantasy, Batería and his teammates Playmon and Winlin tell Buster that he brings bad luck. In reality, they meet him in a supermarket and encourage him to come to their games.
Thanks to Batería, Playmon and Winlin, the Grebes finally win the world championship again after 87 years.
