First appearance "Adventures in Budylon"

Budylon is a jungle that is imagined by D.W. and Bud in "Adventures in Budylon" while they are exploring the backyard of the Read's house. Bud named it after himself.[1] It is also the setting of the PBS Kids website game D.W. & Bud's Backyard Adventure, which is based on the episode.

Areas[]

Mount D.W.[]

A large mountain that is the first landmark D.W. and Bud visited in the jungle. They raced each other to the top, and D.W. named it after herself because she believed she had won, although Bud argued with her about it he thought he was the winner and therefore the mountain should be named "Mount Bud."

Campsite[]

The area where the tent that D.W. and Bud live in while exploring the jungle is set up. It is normally surrounded by a thick foliage, except for when it freezes over when it gets cold in the jungle.

Stone statue[]

A statue from an ancient civilization that D.W. and Bud discovered in the jungle. When Ladonna talked to them in the real world while they were near it, they thought it was the statue talking.

River bridge[]

A wooden rope bridge over a river. On the other side of it is a mountain with a green gate built into its wall, which is the exit from Budylon.

Desert[]

A location that is never actually seen, but is mentioned by Bud.[2]

Waterfall[]

The waterfall is never seen, but is mentioned by Bud when he tells D.W. that it's past the ancient burial ground.

Ancient burial ground[]

A location mentioned by Bud when he tells D.W. that the waterfall is past it. D.W. was scared of the place and argued that it doesn't exist in Budylon.

Temple[]

Only appears in D.W. and Bud's Backyard's Adventure. In the game, D.W. and Bud must explore the temple and collect idols while avoiding various traps and enemies.
