Carl Rambacher is a new eighth grade teacher in Buster's dream in "Freaky Tuesday." A pan of spanakopita which he cooked with lightning for a science experiment causes Buster and Mr. Ratburn to switch bodies. Mr. Ratburn (as Buster) asks him how to reverse the effect and Mr. Rambacher suggests using the Light-o-Tronic 9000 from the old science lab.
The body switch turns out to be just a dream. It is not certain whether Mr. Rambacher is based on an actual teacher at Lakewood Elementary School, which is not known to have an eighth grade.
Carl Rambacher's hair, German name and accent are a probable reference to Albert Einstein.
