D.W.'s Library Card is a D.W. book by Marc Brown based on the TV episode of the same name. It was first released on July 1, 2003, and later reissued with a new cover in paperback. In the story, D.W. wants to get a new library card so that she can check out the book Hopalong The Frog from the Elwood City Public Library, but after she gets the card and the book, she becomes worried that she will lose her card if the book suffers the slightest damage.
