Plot[]
Near Christmas, D.W. thinks that she has even more presents besides what is already under the tree. She finds her father in the kitchen, wrapping a fruitcake for Grandma Thora, and her mother in the basement making Arthur a ladder for his tree house. In the backyard, D.W. sees Arthur burying a bone for Pal.
D.W. realizes that everyone will love the presents they get, and wonders what she should give them. She gathers objects from around the house and brings them to her room. Arthur asks her if she is still looking for presents, and D.W. answers, "Just not for me!"
