D.W. Thinks Big (book)
The Read family is having a day at the beach, but D.W. isn't eager to get in the water. She does her own thing, until Arthur says that he's going for a walk. D.W. insists on coming along and, to her surprise, finds that Arthur is taking her to the water. When she actually ends up in the water, she protests that she can't swim, but Arthur tells her that she doesn't have to. It's the shallow water, and D.W. quickly takes to it. She is soon dipping, floating, flipping, flopping, squirting, splashing and dunking. When it's time to go at the end of the day, she says they should come back tomorrow.
- D.W. All Wet was the second D.W. series title, following D.W. Flips!
- The book is dedicated "For Brenda Gardner, with warm scones and hot tea."
- The book has been released in hardcover, paperback and board book formats.
