Miles is a friend of the Ohio branch of the Read family. Though not a blood relative, they refer to him as Cousin Miles. His only appearance is in the special "The Rhythm and Roots of Arthur".
Miles grew up in Cleveland, but has known the Reads since he was small enough to bounce on Thora's knees. He now works (and possibly lives) on the Read Family Farm where he takes care of the llamas. He likes to write and sing songs.
When the Elwood City Reads visit the farm with Buster, Miles is the only one who notices that Buster is feeling left out because he is not a Read. Miles tells Buster that you don't have to be a blood relative to be family. He gives himself and Henry the rooster as examples.

Miles wears a dark gray jacket over a green hooded sweatshirt, with blue jeans, black and white sneakers, and a gray hat. He has dark brown hair.
