Jim[1] is a firefighter with the Elwood City fire department. Pal meets him twice while finding his way home in "An Arthur Thanksgiving". The second time, Jim has learned that Pal is missing, so he captures him.
Later that day, Jim is called to get a turkey balloon off the scoreboard at the soccer field. Arthur sees Pal drive by in the firetruck. He follows the truck and is reunited with Pal.
Jim is invited to the Reads' Thanksgiving dinner where he makes friends with Sharina.
Jim's name only appears in the subtitles. It is not revealed in the dialogue or in the end credits.
