Johnny Playmon is a baseball player who appears in the episode "The Curse of the Grebes". He recently joined the Elwood City Grebes. According to Brain, he hit .375 with a .456 on-base percentage the previous season.
In a fantasy, Playmon and his teammates Winlin and Batería tell Buster that he brings bad luck. In reality, they meet him in a supermarket and encourage him to come to their games.
Playmon hits the home run which wins the Grebes the world championship after 87 years.
Playmon looks like and is voiced by Johnny Damon, who played for the Boston Red Sox when the episode was made.
