Lap

Lap was a character in Pepe's story in Mei Lin Takes a Stand, and the jester and best friend of Princess Lemini.

Appearance

He is a yellow, non-humanised dog with a purple hat that has orange and red dangly bits with bells on the end and a magenta jumpsuit with a bell on the tail and toes of the shoes, which are lilac. The jumpsuit has a yellow frill and yellow and orange striped legs.

Role

Lap could do tricks. They were knock-knock jokes, magic tricks, licking Princess Lemini's feet, and walking on his hind legs. He was very cheerful, much more so than Meno, who got jealous of him and froze him, leading Princess Lemini to find the cure and then learn to walk while reaching to put the cure in his mouth.

Trivia

• His name Lap, not only is Pal spelt backwards, but it also means what dogs sit in and how dogs drink.
