Loki Benediktssen and the Teenage Aesir is a book series (octology) about a group of teenagers descended from the Norse gods. The main character is Loki Benediktssen. In "Buster's Book Battle", several kids read the series to win IRP points.
Buster has a dream in which he takes the place of the character Vidar. He later has a fantasy in which Loki Benediktssen and Travis Kilgore from City of Droids fight outside the Baxters' condominium.
Buster does not like the first book, finding the chapters either boring or terrifying. Francine reads the whole series, but is sick of it afterwards.
