Snowball was Muffy's pet hamster.
Her only appearance is in "Poor Muffy." When new carpet is being installed at the Muffy's house, Muffy becomes allergic to the carpet. In her bedroom, Muffy is about to sneeze, and grabs a tissue from the table where Snowball is seen in her cage. Snowball runs around the cage and jumps into the wheel.
In "Listen Up!" Muffy describes to George that Snowball always knew when Muffy was sad, and Snowball would touch her nose with Muffy's. She owned the hamster for three years before death. Snowball was Muffy's first and only pet.
