As a pre-production staff member, Huggan's job was to draw backgrounds and layout poses of characters and moving objects plus outlining their movements, based on storyboards, so that they can be fully animated by AKOM.

Personal experience[]

Huggan recounts being tasked with drawing the rotating carousel scenes in "D.W.'s Imaginary Friend" in 1995, mentioning how difficult it was to animate and how efforts to get them approved took over a month. Pay for pre-production of the scene was fairly low.[1]
