Pinwheel Kick

A pinwheel kick is a special soccer kick. Francine tries to do in "Flippity Francine." According to her, the move has never actually been done before. When demonstrating it to Muffy, she has a humorous fall which becomes a hit on the internet. Later, during a game against Mighty Mountain, Francine manages to pull off the kick, winning the game for Lakewood.

In real life

• Association football (soccer) has a difficult move called bicycle kick, overhead kick, or scissors kick, in which a player kicks an airborne ball by throwing his body backwards up into the air and making a shearing movement with the legs. Unlike Francine, the player rarely kicks up the ball himself in order to make the bicycle kick.
• The term pinwheel kick is usually associated with martial arts, rather than soccer.
