Princess Perky is TV show character on a show called Princess Platoon which features in "The Princess Problem."
Princess Perky has a magic Abra-tiara which she uses to rule her kingdom, protect animals and keep her hair pretty. In the movie Princess Perky and the Tower of Trolls, two trolls lock her up high in a tower because they want the tiara. She uses it to create a magic rainbow slide and escapes singing.
D.W. admires the Princess Platoon and owns a Princess Perky doll. After Lydia reads to her about the real-life princess Ana de Mendoza, D.W. wants to be Ana instead, who lost one eye in a duel. In a dream, Perky locks D.W. in a tower because she is jealous. When D.W. asks if Ana can join the Princess Platoon, Perky says that being a princess is a wish come true and nobody would wish to be like Ana.
Originally, Emily wants D.W. to be Princess Perky at her Princess Party. Since D.W. wants to be Ana, Amanda plays Perky instead.
