Season 11 of Arthur premiered on PBS in the United States on June 25, 2007,[1] with "Swept Away/Germophobia."[2] It concluded on September 7, 2007,[1] with "Big Brother Binky."[3]

This season was released on DVD in Region 1 in 2008.

Francine and George are not excited about dancing classes like Muffy and Binky are, but they are chosen to represent the class in a dancing contest. They have fun but don't win. Meanwhile, Muffy and Binky become jealous of them and plan to get them to drop out of the competition.

  • This is the first season that replaces "A Word from Us Kids" with "Postcards From You", a segment in which kids shoot one-minute videos about their everyday life.
  • This is the last season for a few things:
    • The last one to have Chloe Lehmann as JT Turner's assistant as Michelle Proud returns for the fourth and fifth episodes of Season 12.
    • The last one to have overseas animation production services provided by AKOM. Animation Services (H.K.) Ltd. takes over starting with the next season.
    • This is the last season to be produced in the 4:3 aspect ratio. From Season 12-onward, the series would be produced in the 16:9 aspect ratio (Season 12 through Season 15 would air in this ratio in some non-U.S. markets, while the series would continue to air in the 4:3 aspect ratio with the left and right sides cropped out until Season 16 when the show finally starts airing in 16:9 in the U.S.).
    • The last one in which Cameron Ansell voices Arthur, due to his voice slightly maturing. Dallas Jokic takes over starting with the next season.
    • The last one in which Paul-Stuart Brown voices Alan. Lyle Lettau takes over starting with the next season.
    • The last one until Season 14 in which George is voiced by Eleanor Noble, as Samantha Reynolds takes over for the next two seasons.
  • This is the first season in which Robert Naylor voices D.W.
  • At least 12 characters from the series (other than Arthur) got their own episode in this season including Baby Kate, Binky, Brain, Buster, D.W., Fern, Francine, Muffy, Prunella, Sue Ellen, the Tibble twins, and Vicita. This makes Season 11 one of the most diverse seasons of the show.
  • Like Season 7 and Season 10, this season was also released on a DVD box set in Region 1.
    • This is also the last season to be fully released on DVD in Region 1 until Season 22 in 2019.
