Season 18 of Arthur premiered on PBS Kids in the United States on September 29, 2014, with "The Friend Who Wasn't There/Surprise!"^[1]^[2] It concluded on September 10, 2015, with "The Pageant Pickle/Some Assembly Required."^[3]

Production[]

The season was first announced on June 21, 2013^[16] and was in production throughout 2013 and 2014.^[17]^[18] Storyboarding began around early December 2013.^[19] It is the third season produced by 9 Story Media Group.^[20] There are ten episodes in this season.^[21]

Lydia was going to appear in this season,^[22]^[23] but the episode "Little Miss Meanie" was made part of Season 19 instead.

Trivia[]

This season is the first for a few things:
- The first season where William Healy does the voicework for Arthur, following Drew Adkin's departure.
- The first season where Andrew Dayton does the voicework for D.W., following Jake Beale's departure.
- The first season where Max Friedman Cole does the voicework for Brain, following Siam Yu's departure.
PBS began airing episodes from the following season, before four episodes from this season had aired.
