Sharina operates an empanada stand in downtown Elwood City. In "An Arthur Thanksgiving", she tries to befriend Pal as he is trying to find his way back home. She helps Arthur to get Pal back by letting him put a Lost Dog flyer on her stand and later lending him her bike. She is invited to the Reads' Thanksgiving dinner where she makes friends with Jim the firefighter.
Sharina has a Spanish accent and calls Pal perrito (doggy).
Sharina's name is only revealed in the end credits.
