The Spell-a-thon is an all-school spelling bee at the Lakewood Elementary School. The spellers were Arthur, Prunella, Brain, Mary and one of Miss Sweetwater's students.
Arthur won his third grade year and Prunella won the previous year, when she was in third grade.
