Stephen Krensky is a writer for Arthur. In addition to a story from the television series, Krensky was the ghostwriter for all of the Arthur Chapter Books based on episodes of the television show, taking credit only in the copyright on the inside of the book, while the covers gave the name Marc Brown. Krensky also wrote the Arthur Good Sports series.

Brown has stated that Krensky is his best friend.[1]

Krensky is a prolific writer of well over one hundred books, whose titles include How Santa Got His Job, My Teacher's Secret Life and Dangerous Crossing: The Revolutionary Voyage of John and John Quincy Adams.

His other television credits include installments of Mission: Impossible and The Crow: Stairway to Heaven.
