Ted Glass is a crossing guard who filled in for Mrs. Hurley while she was out of town.
Personality[]
Ted, being a bit of a jokester, jokes with Arthur and Brain to pay $10 every time they cross the street. Otherwise, he will send his 'goons' after them. Ted also jokes with them about their faces being on a wanted poster at the post office. Arthur, who teased D.W. earlier in the episode, panicked. The Brain also worried that Ted would repossess their house and asked if he could stay with Arthur and get some free rides from Grandma Thora. When they kept trying to avoid Ted, he said that he has hidden cameras everywhere. However, D.W. thought that Ted's jokes were funny.
At the end of the episode, it is revealed that Grandma Thora knows Ted. After Thora inquiries about the situation, Ted apologizes, and Arthur and Brain become friends with him, even playing along with Ted's usual jokes.
