Ted Glass is a crossing guard who filled in for Mrs. Hurley while she was out of town.
Personality[]
Ted, being a bit of a jokester, kids Arthur and Brain that from now on they have to pay $10.00 to cross the street; he jests that he will send his 'goons' after them if they refuse to pay. He also kids them about their faces being on a wanted poster at the post office. Arthur, who teased D.W. earlier in the episode, panicked. The Brain also worried that Ted would repossess their house and asked if he could stay with Arthur and get rides from Thora. When they kept trying to avoid him, he said he has hidden cameras everywhere. However, D.W. thought Ted's jokes are funny.
At the end of the episode, it is revealed that Grandma Thora is friends with Ted. After Thora inquires about the situation, Ted apologizes, and Arthur and Brain become friends with him.
