The Arthur Podcast is the official podcast from Arthur. It is based on the original Arthur Adventure books by Marc Brown. Each podcast episode features Arthur retelling the events of a classic Arthur television episode, with commentary from friends and family. It also includes an interactive segment that incorporates listener-submitted audio clips from kids, responding to questions posed by Arthur regarding topics related to kids' everyday life and challenges.[1]
The podcast premiered on October 20, 2022. A pre-launch, introductory episode, "Arthur Makes a Podcast" was released on October 6, 2022, alongside a new short.
The Arthur Podcast is available to stream on the Arthur PBS website, the PBS KIDS Video app, the Arthur YouTube channel, and most major audio streaming platforms, such as Amazon Music, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and more. The podcast is produced by GBH Kids and Gen-Z Media, and distributed by PBS KIDS and PRX.
As of 2023, The Arthur Podcast is the #1 PBS KIDS podcast,[2][3] and has performed "incredibly well"[4] in the children's podcast space, according to Senior Vice President and General Manager of PBS KIDS, Sara DeWitt.
