Theodore Read, also known as "Theo," is Arthur, D.W., and Kate's great-grand uncle. He's the brother of Thora's father.[1] He celebrates his 85th birthday in the special "The Rhythm and Roots of Arthur."

Theo is an anthropomorphic aardvark with a dark brown complexion. He wears a gray button-down shirt with a bowtie, a black hat with a red band, brown pants, brown belt with a gold buckle and red suspenders. He has a gray mustache and thick gray eyebrows.
