The Tibet Autonomous Region, is part of the Himalayan Mountains And Plateau Range located in The People's Republic Of China, and north of Indian Subcontinent. It is where Tenzin Wangdu's family came from. The population is around three and a half million people, but many of them moved to India. Tibet currently does not have much transportation services because of the time it takes to build them through the mountains. The only border crossing is located through Nepal, but these areas usually have peaceful cooperation. The Dalai Lama travels in between Tibet and India. The 14th Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso opened The Library Of Tibetan Works and Archives in Dharamsala, not far from where Tenzin lives.
