I would like to share a few episode ideas for my favorite and relatable character Carl Gould

Ladies and gentlemen, Carl Gould!

Two of these ideas I think you'll really like and would probably agree with and one that's more for me than anyone else, that one I will share last. One of the episode ideas I have may have already been an idea by many, wait and see what that one is, and one I just recently came up with after watching another Arthur episode.

So these are my ideas:

Carl Episode Idea 1: Carl and George Write A Story. I recently thought of this episode idea after watching "The Director's Cut" https://arthur.fandom.com/wiki/The_Director's_Cut and learned that George likes to make up stories. I mean true Fern is a story writer but I was thinking George could write a story about something. In addition, Carl could be the illustrator, since he likes to draw like many autistic people, myself included, like to do! Some books have one person be the writer while another does the illustrating and I was basically thinking of two friends of each other, one being a writer, or at least a story maker, while the other is the illustrator for the story.

I'm not too crazy about this part of my idea but George and Carl have a little trouble cooperating with each other and have a conflict in this episode, just like Prunella and Marina did in the episode "Prunella Sees the Light," https://arthur.fandom.com/wiki/Prunella_Sees_the_Light where Marina yells at Prunella. Only what would the problem be? Would Carl and George have trouble deciding what story to write, I mean, what if Carl had ideas different from George about a story and they argued about it?

Say George has an idea for a story and he asks Carl to help him with illustrations since Carl likes to draw and is a good artist, and Carl agrees to doing illustrations. This is kind of like "Carl's Concerto," https://arthur.fandom.com/wiki/Carl's_Concerto but a with a little more tension. Although George and Carl like each other and are probably each other's best friends, I know even they upset and annoy each other and don't always get along, although I have to admit this would be hard for me to watch and would probably break my heart and I'm not sure I would want to see that! Anyway, George tells Carl what to draw but Carl wants to draw other things than what George tells him to do. Or, Carl will draw the pictures but slacks off, and perhaps there's a deadline for this story to be completed. Or wait, Carl has some ideas for George's story and thinks they'd be good ideas and wants them added. Would George take some of Carl's ideas or would he reject them and stick to his orignal plan, which would likely upset, even frustrate Carl? And of course, George and Carl get mad at each other.

Whatever the conflict, there are pretty much delays in getting the story written and illustrated. However eventually George and Carl would settle their differences, apologize to each other for being mean to each other, and could agree on a compromise and they manage to work together and get their project done. They then share their story and illustration.

For the record, I was thinking George and Carl could write a book, but it doesn't have to be a book, it can be a presentation but I like the book idea better.

We could leave out the conflicts and arguing, that would make the episode more comfortable to watch, but it would probably make it less interesting. I guess there's no way around that, a conflict should be in this episode, after all even friends fight, and we autistic people are hard to work with!

I did think that maybe Fern could be used instead of George. Although I like the George and Carl idea, I guess it would be nice to see Carl with Fern for once since Fern is more of a book-writer than George. Or George can still appear (and I think he should) but isn't seen as much as Fern and Carl are. In fact it would be great if George, Fern, and Carl, were all seen together like seen in this fanart picture by Harbinger-Project on Deviant Art https://www.deviantart.com/harbinger-project/art/George-Fern-and-Carl-I-Believe-In-You-686997801 (I'd post the picture here but I'm scared to do it without the artist's permission so I'll just post the link to be safe!)

This is one scenrio, Fern writes a story and Sue Ellen, who's also an artist, was supposed to help her but then something happens to Sue Ellen, maybe she gets sick or has to go out of town for a while. So Fern has to find a new illustrator and she talks to George about it. George then suggests to Fern that Carl does the illustrations and brings Carl to her. This could show what relationship Fern and Carl would have with each other and to see how well they'd get along. George does return a couple or a few times in the episode. And like I said before but with Fern instead of George, what if Fern and Carl have conflicts, and Carl leaves either because he wants to or Fern tells him to? Then Fern and George talk, George tells Fern Carl can be hard to work with but isn't such a bad kid and suggests Fern gives Carl another chance, and apologizes to Carl if she's the one who upset him. Then Fern agrees and asks Carl to come back and he does and this time they work together better and get the project done!

I actually like that idea too, but I want something with just George and Carl.

What do you think? Should it just be George and Carl or George, Fern, and Carl? Or even just Fern and Carl?

That's all I'll share as far as that idea goes, and I apologize if my writing was very poor!

Carl Episode Idea 2: Carl's Father Appearing. Here's one many of you will most definitely agree one, seeing Carl's father! What I'd surely like to know is what does Carl's father look like? What animal is Carl's father? Is Carl's father a rabbit since Carl is too? Is his name Mr. Gould and was he married to Mrs. Gould, and if so are they still married or are they divorced or is Mrs. Gould a widow? What color skin is Carl's father and what color is his hair?

Something else I'd like to know about Carl's father, what's he like compared to Carl's mother, and is he more strict on Carl than his mother is? I would have asked "His Carl's father meaner?" but mean may not be the word for it, might not even be approrpriate and the media does depict autism in bad enough ways and it's not needed in Arthur, at least not the canon Arthur! How would Carl's father treat and get along with him?

Or what if something happened to Carl's real parents and Mrs. Gould adopted him as some others came up with? It is possible Carl's mother adopted him, after all she's not a rabbit, she's an aardvark although her skin complexion and Carl's are the same.

But I'm sticking by the idea that this is Carl's biological mother and Carl's father himself is a rabbit. Or maybe neither of Carl's parents are rabbits but one or two Carl's grandparents are and it skipped a generation! (I still like the idea of Carl's dad being a rabbit the best!) Besides we learned James and Molly's mother isn't a rabbit, but their father is!

So please, let us see Carl's father. What does he look like, what animal is he, and is he still alive and married to Carl's mother? And what's his relationship with Carl like?

You might want to skip this next idea, this one is very old that you're too familiar with, but this one is more for me and perhaps others like me and means more to me than to anyone else!

Carl Episode Idea 3: A Train Episode featuring Carl. So as we saw in the episode "When Carl Met George," https://arthur.fandom.com/wiki/When_Carl_Met_George it was shown that Carl had a liking for trains. That, however, was the only episode Carl was shown to like trains, in episodes featuring Carl thereafter, trains were left out comepletely. So now I wonder, does Carl still like trains or did he lose interest?

I'd like it if real trains were used but Carl can also have a toy train set, maybe even imagine or dream of himself being an engineer on a train, namely of the his toy train. It can be a track-less train, a train with tracks but doesn't work at all, a battery-powered train set, or en electric train set.

Or both a toy train and real train can be shown like in the Curious George episode "Station Master George." And perhaps Carl can go on a train ride with his mother somewhere. Or it can be an episode about train safety.

And yes, I want at least one railroad crossing in this episode although the more the marrier, but not too many of course, maybe two or three crossing scenes is sufficient! At least one of those crossings should be gated and should look like these I drew

And the crossing should look more realistic than the one featured in "The Rhythm and Roots of Arthur"

Railroad

Railroad crossing featured in The Rhythm and Roots of Arthur. Nice but unsatisfactory.

and look less generic and more like one you would actually see in Arthur.

But there should be another train-themed episode with Carl in it and it'll show for sure if Carl still likes trains or not. And while I'm open to the idea of Carl having a toy train, I would prefer to see a real train (but still in Arthur cartoon form) but I don't see why we cannot have both.

I would also like another episode or two where Carl interacts more with Buster and maybe Arthur, and perhaps an episode of Carl without George with him. I mean how about an episode with Arthur, Buster, and Carl but without George?

What do you think of these ideas, especially the first two (you can also comment on the third idea but please be respectful about it or don't comment on it at all!) And what are your Carl episode ideas apart from mine?

Thanks for reading, and again I'm sorry for my poor writing of this blog.
